Second part of the short documentary. Rashmi and Rajnish, Avani's founders, talk about their approach to development, especially respect for local peoples abilities. As the only two outsiders in a remote, conservative area, they have had to earn respect themselves. Their motivation? "To leave the Earth a little more beautiful than we found it", as Rashmi says (quoting Osho). Another 1990's release from Chinmaya with Manish Vyas provides the background music.

"Walk away from any road in India for a day or so, and you will find people who are still untouched by Western values. People who seem to love life; who still have the humanity to welcome strangers; who still have time to smile. Western society seems to be in a crisis of greed, crime, alcohol and drug abuse, obesity and depression. Perhaps we have something to learn?" And as Osho says about the tribal people of Bastar in South India: "They are some of the most beautiful people in the world, they should be preserved. They are the only happy people - they know how to dance, how to sing and how to love and how to enjoy life. They don't philosophize, they don't know arithmetic.....but they still have being, they still have grace..." From 'This Very Body the Buddha'

India's amazing diversity over the music of the genius AR Rahman. Note: The song is the title track from the indian movie Swades.

it will be like a blessing is the title formally of the song despite the fact it can arouse feelings coming from christianity itself, which I do not enjoy, really, the other way round is to bring something in which women will continue being more and more included in practical life, as desires Osho, with your kind permission. Love.

During the DJfestival at Belle Mare plage in Mauritius 4th April 2008. We were so fed up of the cigarette smoke & no good space for dancing that we did our own thing just outside the festival area. We captured a beautiful natraj with the rising sun for you. Enjoy !

"Treasuring the Girlchild". In India girls are made to work much harder than their brothers: cleaning, cooking, minding the younger kids, fetching firewood and water...They are fed less and educated less, married off earlier and face much higher risk of being aborted as a fetus. Let's have a future with smiling girls. "Let's treasure the girlchild"!

you wont find anything from others, that you dont have inside yourself. so start looking within, instead of wasting your time, being a extra in someone elses movie....
